Jubilant, AZ Achieve Milestone in Neuroscience Pact

Jubilant Biosys Ltd., a subsidiary of Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd., has successfully completed an early stage milestone in its neuroscience collaboration with AstraZeneca in the pain therapeutic area.

The collaboration, under which Jubilant aims to provide a steady stream of preclinical outcomes to AstraZeneca, has now expanded to include cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. AstraZeneca owns the compounds developed under the collaboration with worldwide development and commercialization rights. Jubilant receives research funding and success-based development and commercialization milestones.
